I recently stayed at Periyar Woods in Kumily and had a wonderful experience. Justin, the host, was amazing from the moment we arrived. He provided us with a long list of interesting activities to do during our stay, and his recommendations were spot on. The elephant tour he organized for us was absolutely incredible. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the view was breathtaking. Justin even upgraded us to a triple cot bed, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was delicious and the overall atmosphere felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying at Periyar Woods if you want an amazing host, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and an excellent location.

We had an amazing stay at Periyar Woods in Thekkady! The value for money was unbeatable and our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town and close to the Kathakali performance center. The staff treated us like family and made us feel right at home.
